Key Timeline Events:- · Majority of Middle East unite as one state; refuse trade to anyone outside of Union. · Chinese rapid industrialisation falters as resources strained. Begins aggressive military campaign to expand territories. · U.S and E.U, still damaged by recession, are hit hard by Middle East trade embargo. Mass unemployment as economies fail and trade stalls. · Russia begins to prosper as it becomes more and more self-sufficient. · Conflict ensues over territory between Russia and China, whilst U.S and E.U look on anxiously. Oil prices rise further. · U.S, E.U, Canada, and several smaller nations join forces for protection as much as anything else. The World is now essentially split between four main superpowers. Relations between them are strained. · Domestically, unemployment is at an all-time high and most are forced into two careers, criminal or military/law enforcement. · Oil reserves discovered under the Arctic Circle and Canada. · China seizes portions of Russia, and begins to make sorties into Alaska and Canada. Russia begins to claim vast areas of The Arctic Circle. · Gangs masquerading as “Private Security Forces” begin to run oil for the Government, from the harsh and war torn regions of Canada, to the major cities of the U.S. Contracts are rare and lucrative, so gang wars flare over delivery rights. In this future, the Juggernaut facilitates the need for a robust escort to invaluable fuel runs. It is capable of withstanding high levels of enemy fire while defending the convoy, and can even be used to haul cargo itself when called upon.
